LDA Plaza e-Registry Center faces power crisis, citizens demand urgent fix

Lahore: The e-Registry Center at LDA Plaza on Egerton Road is facing serious service disruption due to electricity problems and a faulty generator, causing difficulties for citizens visiting from different areas. The center deals with registry-related matters for Ravi Town, Samanabad Town, and Data Ganj Bakhsh Town, but officials reportedly kept it closed last week due to power issues. At present, limited services are being managed through a temporary generator, while poor ventilation and non-functional air conditioning have made conditions difficult inside the center. Citizens say the center may remain closed again next week if a permanent electricity solution is not arranged. Since the facility generates major government revenue, will authorities provide a dedicated power backup system?
