Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) is close to completing the city’s first government-level padel court project at Ali Park in Garden Town. The facility is being developed on more than 12 kanal of park land at an estimated cost of Rs200 million. According to officials, the basic infrastructure has been completed and concrete work on three modern padel courts is finished. Supporting amenities including washrooms, sitting areas, walkways, and a children’s play area have also been developed. Installation of modern perimeter fencing is in its final stage to enhance security and aesthetics. Authorities say the project will promote healthy recreational activities and provide residents of Garden Town and surrounding areas with access to modern sports facilities once opened to the public.
