Lahore Development Programme Upgrades 57 Streets in Wagah Zone, 38 Completed

Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz visited Tehsil Sadar to inspect infrastructure work being carried out under the Lahore Development Programme. During the visit, officials briefed him on the construction and rehabilitation of 57 streets in Union Council 194, Wagah Zone. Of these, 38 streets have been completed, while work on the remaining 19 is progressing rapidly. The DC directed the concerned authorities to ensure strict quality control, proper drainage, workplace safety, environmental protection and the installation of warning boards at construction sites. He also ordered third-party quality audits after completion, stressing that no compromise would be tolerated on construction materials, transparency or long-term planning.
