Karachi Traffic Police Begins E-Challan Enforcement on Shahrah-e-Faisal

Karachi – Traffic police have begun issuing e-challans on Shahrah-e-Faisal for lane violations as part of efforts to enforce traffic discipline on one of the city’s busiest roads. Initially applied only on Shahrah-e-Faisal, authorities plan to expand the system to other major roads. Violators, including motorcyclists, buses, rickshaws, and cars, face fines of Rs. 2,500 for light vehicles and Rs. 7,500 for buses. Officials emphasize the importance of following designated lanes to improve traffic flow, prevent accidents, and promote commuter responsibility.
