Islamabad Red Zone traffic restored after restrictions lifted

Islamabad: Traffic restrictions around the Red Zone and Serena Hotel area have been lifted, restoring normal movement across key routes in the capital. According to officials, the restrictions were temporarily imposed due to security measures, which have now been withdrawn. Roads in and around the high-security zone are open again, improving traffic flow for daily commuters and transport services. Residents have welcomed the decision, noting reduced congestion and smoother travel conditions. Authorities confirmed that traffic management teams will continue monitoring the area to ensure uninterrupted flow and maintain security where required.
