Lahore: Tanki Wali Park in Islam Pura has been cleared of long-standing illegal encroachments in an operation carried out on the directions of PHA Lahore Managing Director Ahmed Usman Javed. The action was supervised by Additional Managing Director Tasleem Akhtar Rao, with support from the district administration and the LDA. Reports say the encroachments had existed at the park site for around 25 years.
