Imran Khan Stadium Peshawar Ready to Host Matches After Floodlights Installation

Peshawar: Authorities have completed a major infrastructure upgrade at Imran Khan Stadium by installing modern LED floodlights, making the venue fully operational for competitive cricket matches, including night fixtures. The stadium, with a seating capacity of 25,000 and upgraded facilities, is now set to host domestic tournaments such as the National T20 Cup. Although previously considered for the Pakistan Super League, Peshawar was later dropped from the final PSL venue list. Officials say the latest upgrade revives a long underutilized sports asset and keeps hopes alive for hosting top-tier events in the future, strengthening sports infrastructure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
