Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Gujranwala: Deputy Commissioner Naveed Ahmed visited Nowshera Road early in the morning and directed the Assistant Commissioner City and SDEO Pera Force to remove temporary encroachments from both sides of the road. During the visit, he also expressed concern over poor cleanliness conditions and ordered a fine against the contractor. The deputy commissioner directed officials to immediately empty existing waste bins and place additional bins so citizens do not throw garbage on roads. The action matters because encroachment-free roads and clean markets improve traffic flow, pedestrian movement, commercial access, and public convenience. Better urban management can also increase business activity and support nearby property value. Can strict field monitoring improve Gujranwala’s civic environment?
