Green Corridor project launched from Shahdara to Raiwind, parks development begins near Kot Lakhpat

Lahore: The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has initiated the Green Corridor project along the railway track from Shahdara to Raiwind to enhance urban greenery and public spaces. As part of the project, construction of modern parks has begun near Kot Lakhpat Railway Station, featuring play areas, family sitting zones, food courts, open gyms, and walking tracks. Officials stated that nearby residential areas will also be upgraded with improved cleanliness, lighting, and landscaping. The initiative aims to create a healthier urban environment, promote recreational activities, and improve the overall aesthetic appeal of the city through sustainable development measures.
