Dubai Land Department launches AI-powered property registration platform

Dubai: Dubai Land Department has launched the AI-powered “Initial Registration” platform to streamline project registration, property transactions and escrow account management for developers. The system can read Emirates IDs, passports and sales contracts, extract relevant information and automatically complete application fields, reducing repetitive data entry and improving accuracy. Standard transactions that fulfil the department’s business rules may also qualify for approval upon submission. The platform provides developers with a consolidated view of property projects, unit status, escrow accounts, financial information and project records. It also allows missing information to be added without restarting the entire application. Although some reports claim processing reductions of up to 80%, the official announcement reviewed did not specify a fixed percentage.
