DG LDA Tahir Farooq takes notice of demolition of widow teacher’s house, orders inquiry

Lahore: Director General LDA Tahir Farooq has taken strict notice of the demolition of a widow school teacher’s house in LDA Avenue One, despite claims that all documents and approvals were valid. The DG immediately suspended the concerned officer and ordered an independent inquiry into the incident. Officials stated that if any wrongdoing is proven, full compensation will be provided to the affected woman and strict action will be taken against those responsible. The case gained attention after a video surfaced on social media, where the woman claimed she had built the house after decades of service and possessed complete legal documentation. Authorities emphasized ensuring justice and accountability in the matter.
