DC Lahore Ali Ejaz reviews LDP works, orders immediate action on poor drainage

Lahore: Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (R) Ali Ejaz visited Allama Iqbal Town to review development works under the Lahore Development Program (LDP). During the visit to Union Council 105, officials briefed him on ongoing and completed schemes. The DC expressed strong displeasure over poor cleaning of a drainage channel and directed WASA to immediately resolve the issue and submit a report. He emphasized that no delays in development work will be tolerated and strict quality standards must be maintained. Authorities were also instructed to ensure cleanliness, transparency and timely completion of all projects, aiming to provide a clean and well-developed urban environment for citizens.
