DC Lahore highlights Rs137bn development projects at press meet

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz attended the Lahore Press Club’s “Meet the Press” session, where he briefed journalists on ongoing development projects in the city. He stated that projects worth over Rs137 billion are underway under the Lahore Development Program, including street lighting, road rehabilitation, sewerage upgrades, traffic management, and major initiatives like a Medical City. He added that previously neglected areas are now being prioritized, with over 14,000 streets to be developed in Phase-II. The DC emphasized continuous monitoring, improved public services, and active coordination with departments. He also highlighted efforts in revenue case resolution and urban management to enhance overall city conditions.
