Petrol pumps sealed in Daska over measurement violations

Ali Raza Wajid : Daska: Assistant Commissioner Daska conducted surprise inspections at multiple petrol pumps across the city to ensure accurate fuel measurement and prevent malpractice. During the visit, petrol quantity was checked using standard measuring procedures, while overall stock levels were also reviewed to avoid hoarding or artificial shortages. Authorities found violations of rules at certain petrol pumps, leading to immediate enforcement action, including sealing of non-compliant outlets. Officials emphasized that strict monitoring will continue to protect consumer rights and ensure transparency in fuel supply operations across the city.
