Bilal Yasin Brings All Punjab Housing Schemes Under One Digital System

Lahore: Punjab Housing Minister Bilal Yasin has announced that all housing schemes across the province will be monitored through a centralized digital system. The initiative is intended to improve transparency, maintain accurate records and strengthen action against illegal construction and unauthorized housing societies. Housing schemes that fail to register with the Housing Society Management System may face official action. The government also plans to integrate NADRA records, digital maps and e-registration services to reduce property fraud. Bilal Yasin further said that plot transactions through the traditional file system are being discontinued, while Green Property Certificates will be introduced. Citizens have been advised to verify housing societies through the Punjab Land Records Authority before purchasing property.
