Islamabad: A major Information Technology Park, covering approximately 720,000 square feet, is under construction in the federal capital. According to the Special Technology Zones Authority, the purpose-built facility is planned to accommodate around 100 technology companies. It will offer dedicated office space alongside business incubation and technology commercialisation centres. The project also includes conference and training rooms, an auditorium, a business centre, commercial outlets, parking and other supporting facilities. The proposed complex is designed to bring established technology firms, startups, researchers and business-support organisations together within a single professional ecosystem. Official project information currently lists the Islamabad IT Park as under construction; therefore, its planned facilities are not yet operational. Once completed, the park is expected to provide modern infrastructure for technology businesses and emerging startups in Islamabad.
