CDA Issues Show-Cause Notices to Specific Bahria Town Schemes

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued show-cause notices to specific Bahria Town schemes over alleged regulatory and approved-layout violations. A January 15 notice concerning Bahria Town Phase III-E & IV states that its layout plan was approved but the required NOC had not been obtained, while CDA alleged that development and plot sales proceeded and that some public-amenity land uses were changed. A separate January 14 notice for Bahria Paradise Commercial Scheme-IV raises similar concerns over development before NOC, changes to approved land uses and expansion without prior approval. CDA’s official records also show notices concerning Bahria Enclave Phase-I. Importantly, these actions relate to identified schemes and alleged violations; CDA has not declared the entire Bahria Town development illegal.
