Hayatabad Toll Plaza Underpass slab work advances with 800 cubic metres of concrete poured in 16-hour operation

Peshawar: A major slab-concreting operation is progressing at the Hayatabad Toll Plaza Underpass, involving around 800 cubic metres of concrete during a continuous 16-hour construction cycle. According to the project update, 12 transit mixers and two concrete pumps are being deployed, supported by two batching plants and an additional standby plant. The slab section measures approximately 80 to 130 metres in length and 8.5 to 11.5 metres in width. The large-scale operation represents a key construction stage of the underpass and is aimed at advancing the project toward completion. Once operational, the infrastructure is expected to support smoother traffic movement and improve connectivity around the busy Hayatabad corridor.
