Gilgit-Baltistan: The Juglot–Skardu Highway (S-1) has been blocked at Haramosh after landslides triggered by heavy monsoon rains disrupted traffic on the strategic route. Road maintenance teams and the relevant authorities have launched restoration work to remove debris and reopen the highway as quickly as possible. The closure has temporarily affected travel between Gilgit and Skardu, while motorists have been advised to avoid unnecessary travel until the route is declared safe.
