Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s ROSHN Group is seeking private investors for the Aramco Stadium in Al Khobar, a key venue planned for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. The PIF-backed developer has reportedly appointed JPMorgan to attract capital through a proposed lease and leaseback structure. The 47,000-seat stadium is expected to be completed by the end of 2026 and will host World Cup matches. The move reflects Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 strategy to involve private capital in major sports, tourism, and infrastructure projects. Large-scale stadium development can boost surrounding real estate, hospitality, transport, retail, and investor confidence.
