LDA appoints new directors in planning zones

Muhammad Muzamil Awan : Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority has approved two officer transfers and new postings with the approval of the director general. Deputy Director Town Planning Ayesha Mutahir has been transferred and posted as Director Town Planning Zone Seven, while Deputy Director Town Planning Humana Saeed has been posted as Director Metropolitan Planning Zone Four. These appointments matter because planning zones play a key role in land-use approvals, zoning control, building regulations, commercial planning, and housing development files. Any change in senior planning positions can influence decision-making speed, administrative coordination, and development oversight. For investors, developers, and citizens, such postings may affect the pace of planning approvals and urban management in Lahore. Will this reshuffle improve planning efficiency across LDA zones?
