CDA seals two Islamabad societies over plot fraud

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority has declared Shaheen Town and Islamabad Green Paradise in Zone IV illegal and sealed their administrative, site and public dealing offices. According to officials, the action targets unauthorized plot sales and promotional activities being carried out without valid approval. This matters for buyers because illegal housing schemes can create serious risks around ownership, development promises, refunds and future possession. The move also sends a warning to developers involved in unapproved land marketing across Islamabad. For the property market, stronger enforcement may improve investor confidence, protect genuine buyers and push housing projects toward legal compliance. Will this crackdown make Islamabad’s real estate market safer for investors?
