Hyderabad: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has recovered 80 acres of government land in Gulshan-e-Sarmast after finding irregularities in its allotment to Bahria Town. Officials stated that the land, worth around Rs6 billion, was originally designated for an educational project, but the agreement terms were violated and full payment was not made. Following an inquiry, NAB coordinated with the Hyderabad Development Authority to cancel the allotment and reclaim possession, while forfeiting the amount already paid. This development under the Real Estate Core Cluster reflects strict Government Policy enforcement to regulate land use and ensure accountability.
