Milk, yogurt sold above official rates in Lahore amid weak enforcement

Similarly, yogurt is available at Rs 260 to Rs 280 per kg, exceeding official limits. Citizens have reported the absence of displayed price lists and ineffective monitoring by price control authorities, allowing shopkeepers to charge arbitrary rates. Public complaints have increased as consumers face financial strain due to overpricing. Residents have urged authorities to conduct daily inspections and take strict action against violators to ensure fair pricing.
