Railway land worth Rs50m reclaimed in Lahore anti-encroachment drive

Lahore: Railway Police Lahore Division carried out a grand anti-encroachment operation, reclaiming approximately 5 kanals of valuable railway land worth around Rs50 million. The operation was conducted at Dharampura near the Railway Dry Port, targeting illegal setups including cattle sheds, parking stands and other commercial activities. Officials stated that the action was led by SHO Mughalpura with support from railway staff and heavy police deployment. Cases have been registered against individuals involved in illegal occupation. Authorities emphasized zero tolerance for encroachments on government land and confirmed that such operations will continue to protect public assets and ensure lawful use of railway property.
