DG LDA Tahir Farooq intensifies crackdown, 139 illegal commercial properties sealed

Lahore: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has intensified its operation against illegal commercial buildings and defaulters of commercialization fees, sealing 139 properties across multiple areas. Acting on the directives of DG LDA Tahir Farooq, enforcement teams conducted operations in Township, Quaid-e-Azam Town, Gulberg, Model Town Extension, Main GT Road near Shalimar Garden, Defence Road and Mustafa Town. The sealed properties include private banks, marriage halls, schools, bakeries, pharmacies, clinics, grocery stores, restaurants, offices and shops. Officials stated that strict action is being taken against unauthorized commercial use and non-payment of dues. Authorities reaffirmed that indiscriminate operations will continue to ensure compliance, transparency and proper urban regulation.
