50% work of Lahore Development Program Phase-2 completed, DC reviews progress

Lahore: Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (R) Muhammad Ali Ejaz chaired a weekly review meeting to assess progress on the Lahore Development Program launched under the special directives of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif. Officials from MCL, WASA and NESPAK briefed the meeting on the ongoing development activities across the city. According to the briefing, Phase-1 of the program has been successfully completed, while work has also started in some previously neglected areas identified by citizens. Under Phase-2 of the project, more than 50 percent of the development work has already been completed. The DC Lahore directed all departments to complete the remaining works within the specified timeline and ensure strict quality control of construction materials. Authorities stated that the program aims to improve urban infrastructure and provide better civic facilities to residents across Lahore.
