Sewage Water Floods Streets in Allama Iqbal Town, Residents Troubled

Lahore: Residents of Ravi Block in Allama Iqbal Town are facing serious difficulties due to overflowing sewage water accumulating in streets and outside houses. Locals say the issue has persisted for nearly three weeks despite repeated complaints to the authorities. The foul smell from the stagnant water has made it difficult for residents to pass through the streets, while children and elderly people are particularly affected. Residents also fear the spread of stomach and other diseases due to the unhygienic conditions. They have urged the concerned departments to replace the old sewerage pipelines and establish a permanent drainage solution.
