Muhammad Muzamil Awan: Lahore: Punjab has launched a digital e-portal to improve complaint management and operational monitoring within WASA departments. Provincial Minister for Housing Bilal Yaseen inaugurated the system, stating that for the first time, field operations across all districts will be digitally monitored. The platform integrates a complaint management system and helpline 1334 to ensure timely resolution of public issues. It also enables geo-tagging of manholes and monitoring of open manhole detection systems. Authorities have identified over 3,000 open manholes in the initial phase, while sewerage lines and disposal stations are being developed in 15 districts. The provision of 937 modern machines and vehicles aims to enhance drainage efficiency across Punjab.
