Lahore: Punjab Revenue Authority has collected more than Rs220 billion in tax revenue during the first eight months of the current fiscal year, according to officials. The figure represents a significant increase compared with Rs156.3 billion collected during the same period last year, showing an additional growth of over Rs63 billion. The update was shared during a meeting chaired by PRA Chairman Muazzam Iqbal Sapra to review monthly revenue targets. Officials said expansion of new tax sectors and improved enforcement contributed to the rise in collections.
