National Grid Company completes maintenance to ensure uninterrupted power during Ramazan

Lahore: The National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGC) has successfully completed nationwide maintenance work on grid stations and transmission lines ahead of Ramazan and the upcoming summer season. According to the company, asset management teams upgraded and serviced key high-voltage infrastructure to enhance the reliability of the national grid. Major works included busbar repairs at the 500kV Nokkhar grid station, circuit breaker overhauling at the 220kV Kala Shah Kaku station, and servicing of auto-transformer tap changers at Sarfaraz Nagar and Jamshoro grid stations. NGC spokesperson Muhammad Ibrahim said the timely completion of maintenance will help ensure stable and uninterrupted electricity supply during the holy month. The company reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a secure and reliable transmission network.
