Maryam Nawaz condemns attack on security forces convoy in Bannu

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the attack on a security forces convoy in Bannu, terming it a cowardly act by Indian-sponsored militants. She praised the professionalism and bravery of security forces for foiling the major attack and neutralising five militants. The chief minister paid tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Lieutenant Colonel Shahzada Gul Faraz and Sepoy Karamat Shah, who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty. She expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the bereaved families. Maryam Nawaz stated that the entire nation is proud of the martyrs and reaffirmed that the state of Pakistan remains fully determined and prepared to eliminate terrorism in all its forms.
