World Bank Delegation Visits Punjab Revenue Authority, Praises Digital Tax Reforms

A World Bank delegation, led by Klelia Rontwiyani, visited the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) head office and met with Chairman Moazzam Iqbal Supra. The delegation was briefed on PRA’s reform agenda and ongoing programs aimed at modernizing, digitizing, and increasing transparency in the provincial tax system. During the visit, officials discussed measures to expand the tax network, promote a strong tax culture, and provide taxpayers with convenient, online, and citizen-friendly services. The World Bank praised PRA’s efforts in achieving record revenue collection through these initiatives. Both sides agreed to further strengthen technical cooperation to enhance tax administration and public service delivery.
