Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif met Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan to discuss national conditions, assembly proceedings, and future legislation, including jail reforms. The meeting focused on promoting coordination between government and opposition members in the legislative process. Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan praised the Chief Minister’s policy role in the National Peace Message Committee and appreciated the launch of the “Apna Khait, Apna Rozgar” scheme. Maryam Nawaz said the initiative is a team success and has provided land and livelihood opportunities to 30,000 unemployed families.
