Uzbekistan’s Babar Park to boost Islamabad green spaces

Islamabad: Babar Park, a gift from Uzbekistan, is being developed on Faisal Avenue and is expected to become one of the capital’s most attractive green public spaces after completion. The project includes modern landscaping and recreational features aimed at improving the city’s environment and offering families a better outdoor experience. Officials say the park will also promote cultural friendship between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, adding a symbolic identity to Islamabad’s urban landscape. Green public spaces play an important role in improving air quality, public health, tourism appeal and neighborhood value. For real estate, well-designed parks can increase nearby property demand and commercial activity. Will Babar Park become a new landmark for Islamabad?
