UAE Strengthens Protections for Delivery Riders with Cooling Stations and Midday Heat Break

Dubai: The United Arab Emirates has introduced new measures to protect delivery riders from extreme summer heat. Delivery riders will now have access to dedicated cooling stations with air conditioning, drinking water, and rest facilities. Additionally, riders cannot be required to work during the official midday heat break. The initiative aims to ensure rider safety and well-being amid rising temperatures. Authorities have urged delivery companies to strictly follow these guidelines.
