SIFC facilitates Pakistan-China agreement for world-class sports footwear production

Islamabad: A technical and investment cooperation agreement has been signed at the Special Investment Facilitation Council between Pakistan’s Forward Sports and China’s Zhongzi Huaxin Group for the joint production of world-class sports footwear in Pakistan. The agreement brings together Forward Sports’ manufacturing expertise and the Chinese group’s experience in industrial development, footwear and apparel parks, and investment management. The initiative is expected to support technology transfer, expand local manufacturing, create employment, diversify exports, and help Pakistan secure a larger share of the global footwear market. The signing ceremony was attended by Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, the DG SIFC, and senior representatives of both companies.
