Sheer-e-Punjab squash championship concludes with emerging talent

Lahore: The Sheer-e-Punjab Squash Championship concluded with exciting matches across Under-9, Under-13, and women categories, highlighting emerging talent from across the country. Raheel Victor from Sindh won the Under-13 national title, while Mustafa Khan finished as runner-up. In the women’s category, Sana Bahadur secured victory, with Damiya Khan as runner-up. In Under-9, Muhammad Aban claimed the title, while Muhammad bin Naeem finished second. The event witnessed participation from multiple provinces, with over 200 registrations received this year. DG LDA Tahir Farooq attended as chief guest, along with senior officials and renowned squash player Gogi Alauddin. Authorities emphasized promoting sports development and supporting young athletes through improved facilities and initiatives.
