Sargodha tightens helmet rule for bikers

According to the traffic initiative, motorcycles of riders found without helmets are being impounded, and the seized motorcycles will only be returned when the rider brings a helmet. Officials said the restriction is aimed at protecting citizens’ lives and reducing road injuries. The campaign matters because traffic discipline directly improves urban mobility, road safety, and public confidence in city management. Safer roads also support business movement, daily commuting, access to markets, and overall urban functionality.
