Sargodha tightens helmet rule for bikers

Ali Raza Wajid : Sargodha: DSP Traffic Sargodha has launched strict action to ensure helmet use among motorcyclists for public safety and accident prevention. According to the traffic initiative, motorcycles of riders found without helmets are being impounded, and the seized motorcycles will only be returned when the rider brings a helmet. Officials said the restriction is aimed at protecting citizens’ lives and reducing road injuries. The campaign matters because traffic discipline directly improves urban mobility, road safety, and public confidence in city management. Safer roads also support business movement, daily commuting, access to markets, and overall urban functionality. Better enforcement can indirectly improve commercial activity and neighborhood connectivity. Can strict helmet enforcement reduce road accidents in Sargodha?
