Multan tightens traffic plan around General Bus Stand

Ali Raza Wajid: Multan: City Traffic Police has continued implementation of the traffic management plan around General Bus Stand on the directions of CTO Multan Muhammad Nabeel. A crackdown is underway against wrong parking and illegal passenger loading by vehicles leaving the bus stand near Vehari Chowk. The Traffic Education Unit also held an awareness lecture for transporters and drivers, directing them to follow the traffic plan, avoid wrong parking and stop picking passengers from unauthorized points. Additional personnel have been deployed around Vehari Chowk and General Bus Stand, while action against violators continues without discrimination. Improved bus stand management can reduce congestion, support safer commuting and improve access to nearby markets. Will this ease Multan’s traffic pressure?
