RTA Unveils 72 Smart Transport Projects Across Dubai

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) Dubai has announced 72 major infrastructure projects to be completed by 2027, covering roads, bridges, tunnels, and integrated transport corridors. The progress was reviewed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. Projects include the Aerial Taxi initiative, Metro and Tram expansion, and the Future Loop pedestrian network, all aimed at making Dubai a connected, smart, and sustainable city.
RTA’s plan features 226 km of new roads, 115 bridges and tunnels, and 11 main corridors to ease congestion. By 2029, Dubai’s rail network will expand to 131 km with 14 new stations, while electric air taxis and 3,300 km of walkways will further enhance mobility and sustainability across the city
