Lahore: The Lahore Development Authority’s governing body has approved an Rs88.613 billion budget for 2026-27, along with the launch of a new Pine Sector in LDA City. The meeting, held on August 19 and chaired by LDA Vice Chairman Mian Marghoob Ahmad, also set a Rs47 billion revenue target. According to APP, Rs12.5 billion has been allocated for development works in LDA City, while the new Pine Sector will include commercial plots of different sizes and one-kanal residential plots. The governing body also approved solar lights in various LDA City blocks. Separately, it approved development and marketing of commercial plots on 118 kanals near Arfa Karim Tower for a proposed LDA Tech Park.
