Rs 5 Billion Development Projects Progress Rapidly in PP-153 Punjab

LAHORE: Development work worth Rs 5 billion is progressing rapidly in Punjab Assembly constituency PP-153, it was informed during a review meeting chaired by Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq. Officials from SNGPL, WASA, MCL and LDA briefed the minister on ongoing schemes, including a Rs 4.5 billion trunk sewer project from Harbanspura to Phatak Saddar Cantt, and Rs 1.1 billion projects in UC-148’s Amina Park for tube wells, street rehabilitation, sewerage improvement, and clean water supply. The minister emphasized transparent monitoring, timely completion, and on-ground supervision to ensure public relief. He said the Punjab government, under Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s vision, is prioritizing basic facilities and sustainable urban development to improve quality of life for residents.
