Rachna Town drain embankment breach leaves multiple Ferozewala areas underwater

Ferozewala: A major flood situation emerged in Rachna Town after the embankment of a seasonal drain reportedly collapsed following overflow, leaving several nearby areas submerged. Rahman City, Rahman Garden, Pathan Colony, Gulshan Attar, Rachna Town, Ferozewala village, Daulat Khan Road, and Motorway City were among the worst affected localities, where water levels reportedly reached between four and eight feet. Residents were seen shifting their belongings to safer places on self-help basis, while many complained that no prior warning was issued by the administration before the overflow. The incident has raised serious concerns over drainage preparedness, settlement safety, and disaster response in expanding residential zones. Will authorities move quickly to provide relief and prevent further damage?
