Punjab to Introduce More Electric Buses, E-Bikes & E-Taxis Under Green Transport Push

Lahore: Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has decided to further expand green transport in Punjab by introducing more electric buses, e-taxis, e-bikes, and e-three-wheelers. During the meeting, it was informed that Punjab has now started local assembly of electric buses. The Chief Minister announced that 5,000 electric buses will be on Punjab roads within five years. Special easy installment schemes were also approved for students and government employees to purchase e-bikes.
