Punjab shifts Journalist Colony Phase Two to Chahar Bagh J Block under RUDA plan

Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to shift Journalist Colony Phase Two to Chahar Bagh J Block, where the project will be developed according to the already approved master plan. Important decisions were taken during a meeting between RUDA and the Information Department regarding the project. It was decided that the list of eligible journalists will be provided to RUDA immediately, after which RUDA will issue notices to qualified applicants. Development charges and installments will be collected according to the previous agreement, while RUDA will directly receive the development charges. Officials said all rules and regulations of Journalist Colony Phase Two will remain applicable. Can timely implementation finally move this long-awaited housing project forward?
