Punjab reviews Suthra Punjab performance in Jhelum, orders enhanced cleanliness

Jhelum: Provincial Minister for Local Government Zeeshan Rafique visited Jhelum to review the performance of the Suthra Punjab Agency and assess ongoing cleanliness operations. During a meeting at the Deputy Commissioner’s office, officials briefed on progress, strategic targets, and use of modern machinery for sanitation services. The minister expressed satisfaction over current performance but directed authorities to further enhance efforts and ensure timely achievement of cleanliness goals. He emphasized public cooperation and early planning for Eid-ul-Azha sanitation arrangements. Authorities highlighted the use of digital monitoring systems and a zero-waste policy to improve service delivery. The initiative aims to ensure a cleaner environment, better municipal management, and sustainable urban hygiene across the district.
