Punjab orders seepage solution at Rawalpindi hospital

Ali Raza Wajid :lRawalpindi: Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique, along with MNA Tahira Aurangzeb, made a surprise visit to Benazir Bhutto Hospital and inspected areas affected by seepage and an unusual rise in underground water level. The minister directed officials to begin urgent practical work after a detailed scientific review of the basement seepage issue. C&W, WASA and hospital administration briefed him, while technical studies from NESPAK and UET were also recommended to identify the real causes and ensure a permanent solution. He later visited the Mother and Child Hospital and reviewed ongoing development work. Stronger hospital infrastructure can protect public assets, improve healthcare access and raise confidence in nearby urban development. Will this improve Rawalpindi’s healthcare infrastructure standards?
