Punjab: The Punjab Education Department has announced a complete ban on summer camps in all public and private schools starting from July 1. Officials cited safety, administrative, and regulatory concerns as reasons for the decision. The ban includes indoor and outdoor activities typically conducted during summer vacations, including sports, arts, and academic enrichment programs. Schools have been instructed to suspend all summer camp-related events until further notice and to notify parents and students about the change. Authorities emphasized that this step aims to ensure the safety and well-being of students and maintain educational standards.
