Lahore: The Punjab Board of Investment and Trade organized a special briefing session to present investment opportunities across the province to a 22-member delegation of US companies. The session was chaired by Punjab Industries and Commerce Minister Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, while representatives of SIFC, the Punjab Investment Board, agriculture and industries departments, and leading business groups also participated. The delegation was briefed on opportunities in agriculture, energy, minerals, textiles, surgical instruments, electric mobility, lithium batteries, and special economic zones. Officials invited US investors to establish manufacturing facilities for modern agricultural machinery and explore cooperation in soybean cultivation, seed development, textiles, and value-added minerals. Can stronger Punjab-US business links attract new factories, technology, and employment to the province?
